La Cantera. A golfing experience that can only be described as par excellence.
The La Cantera Resort Course
Designed by noted golf course architect Jay Morrish and tour professional Tom Weiskopf, The Resort Course at La Cantera served as a PGA Tour stop for 15 years. The 7001 yard, par-72 course has been named one of the Top 10 public access golf courses in the U.S. by Golf Magazine and one of the best new courses by Golf Digest. The Resort Course at La Cantera is known for its spectacular layout carved into the Texas Hill Country, including a sheer, 80-foot drop from the 7th tee to the fairway. Along the course, players encounter natural water features, swift running streams, magnificent live oak trees, limestone rock outcroppings and 75 dramatic, white sand bunkers, along spectacular views of the roller coaster at Six Flags Fiesta Texas Theme Park and the downtown San Antonio skyline.
